Music

Music is an impor­tant part of life at Rich­mond.  In addi­tion to their usual music lessons in class, there are plenty of other oppor­tu­ni­ties for chil­dren to get involved in per­form­ing.  We have a number of musical instruments available in school for the children to learn via a qualified music teacher who visits Richmond Primary School throughout the week, offering individual and group sessions.

Young Voices 

Miss Star­buck, Mrs Manley and other members of staff lead and organ­ise a choir of chil­dren to per­form in the ‘Young Voices’ con­cert at the LG Arena in Birm­ing­ham every year.  All years have been extremely suc­cess­ful and thor­oughly enjoyed by staff and chil­dren alike. We will be taking part again in 2024.

Our chil­dren love performing and enjoy singing for the local community.
