Pupil Leadership

Empowering Young Leaders at Richmond
At Richmond, we believe every child has the potential to lead. From Early Years through to Year 6, we nurture leadership skills by providing meaningful opportunities for pupils to take responsibility and make a difference. Every child receives a Leadership Passport, a unique record of the roles and responsibilities they embrace during their time with us.

Our pupils shine as Eco Warriors, School Council representatives, Digital Leaders, Reading Buddies, Anti-Bullying Ambassadors, Wellbeing Ambassadors, Peer Mediators, Playground BuddiesSports Leaders, and more. Leadership extends into the classroom too, with roles such as book monitors, table monitors, and line leaders—ensuring every child experiences the pride of contributing to their community.

Through these opportunities, we help children develop confidence, character, and the skills to become thoughtful, responsible leaders of tomorrow.
